The City of Plano is working with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to improve the intersection at Preston Road and the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT). Construction continues through 2021.

The improvements include:

  • widening the southbound Preston Road bridge over the KCS railroad and PGBT
  • creating a southbound right-turn lane at the PGBT westbound on-ramp
  • adding dual left-turn lanes for southbound traffic to the PGBT eastbound on-ramp

Please share this information with others who may be impacted by the lane closures. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these much-needed improvements.
