Join us for Trash or Treat on Saturday, October 31! Trash or Treat combines our annual Fall Waterways Cleanup with a fun drive-through event to celebrate Halloween and thank cleanup participants for helping keep Plano waste free.

Cleanup Information

Cleanups will take place city wide on the morning of Halloween with the event following immediately after. All supplies will be provided for cleanup participants the week prior to the event, along with free t-shirts for those who want them.

Registration for cleanups opens on Thursday, September 24.

About Trash or Treat

For this drive-through event, City departments will provide cleanup volunteers with a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween while learning how we all keep Plano clean and green. There will be (sanitized) giveaways and fun activities to do – all from a safe social distance. This includes a costume contest for both you and your dog, so remember to bring your pups along for the ride!

The event will take place at Windhaven Meadows Park (5400 Windhaven Pkwy) from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. While filling out the cleanup registration form, volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up for certain time slots to attend the event. This will help us maintain health guidelines and reduce traffic.
