Monday-Thursday 9:00am – 8:00pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday 1:00 – 5:00pm

Computer access (first come, first served – one 2-hour session per day)

Family Place Library

Family Place Workshops are currently not offered during the ongoing health crisis. Harrington Library and Schimelpfening Library are part of Family Place Libraries™ national network, providing resources to help families nurture their children's development and early learning

Small Talk

Improve your English speaking skills in a small group of adults with virtual Small Talk

A conversational program for adults who speak English as a second language. Each week participants discuss practical everyday topics in a casual group setting to become more confident speakers

Money Smart

Learn how to make smart financial choices that will prepare you for whatever the future brings. Tools for adults include connecting with a SCORE Mentor, virtual financial programs and money and financial resources from Plano Public Library. Teens can learn how far their paycheck will take them with the Game of Life. And parents can teach their children how to make financial choices with Money as You Grow - Children's Books and Financial Discussion Guides

Check It Out! Launchpads

Launchpads are pre-loaded tablets with activities for kids, teens and adults to extend your learning experience. Kids Launchpads come with learning apps in a variety of subjects (reading, intro to science and math, and more) for hours of interactive learning. Teen and Adult Launchpads focus on higher skill-building for tests (SAT, ACT, AP) and brain games for memory

Launchpads do not require physical batteries, nor Internet or a credit card. They may need to charge using a micro USB to work
