Tommy Alverson has shared the stage with Texas musicians Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Johnny Gimble, Jerry Jeff Walker, Clay Blaker, Gary P. Nunn, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Radney Foster, and Steven Fromholz, as well as Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Charlie Robison, Dale Watson, and singer/songwriter Jim Lauderdale. Ed Burleson won a rodeo scholarship to Hill College in Hillsboro, TX, and it was there that he first started learning guitar. While recovering from a knee injury, his love for playing country music grew. He first started playing at a newcomer's showcase at the Three Teardrops Tavern in Dallas. His 1999 album, "My Perfect World," hit number four on the Americana charts.
