Who's Watching Your Kids Around Water?

Two inches of water and less than five minutes out of sight can be a deadly combination for a small child near water. Keep your children safe, designate a "Water Watcher."

Gathering near a lake or pool with children this summer? Plano Fire-Rescue (PFR) wants to make your water fun a lot safer by mailing you a Water Watcher Tag. When a responsible adult wears the Water Watcher Tag, they are on duty and cannot leave the area or take their attention away from the children until another adult takes over supervision and wears the Water Watcher tag.

With correct use of the Water Watcher Tag, there should never be a lapse in supervision of your kiddos. Call the PFR Community Outreach Office at 972-941-7421 or email Peggy Harrell to get your free tag today.
